A symbol of solace and hope. Made in the memory of designer Pisith’s experiences as a child trapped by the Khmer Rouge, when he found comfort gazing at the stars in the sky above.
In spite of the circumstances for the inspiration, the design is quirky, humorous and playful, expressing perfectly the irrepressibly positive spirit of a child, no matter the situation. The pendant is based on one of designer Pisith’s first jewellery designs.
Made of sterling silver, and suspended on silver wire, the pendant sits comfortably at the base of the throat. Its smooth, organic, robust form is a reassuring presence, at once cool and comforting.
