This silver and natural stone necklace pays homage to two protective emblems of the Angkor – the moats surrounding the temples of Angkor and the guardian lion statues flanking the entrances to the sacred sanctuaries of the temples.
A symbol used by Khmer kings to represent courage and a purported guardian of the sacred, the lion is carved and cast in sterling silver for this necklace and suspended on a long rope of gorgeous red carnelian stones, together with a pendant of blue labradorite beads. Stunningly coloured and with an interesting pendant, this necklace makes for a good conversation piece in any setting.
