A translation of the intricate carvings of devatas (minor female deities) on the walls of the petite 10th century Banteay Srei temple into curvilinear motifs handcrafted in silver. Distinct from the other temples in the Angkor megacity with its small size, pink sandstone and elaborate decorative wall carvings of devatas, the temple well deserves its name, for Banteay Srei roughly means “the citadel of beauty”.
The Innate Carving Silver Earrings feature curvilinear shapes polished to brightness, made to dangle from the earlobe symmetrically.
