The Necklace reflects Kbach elements, a traditional decorative element in Cambodian architecture, carved in relief on the walls and columns of Angkor’s temples as well as on traditional Khmer silverware. The simple beauty of the kbach chan, a decorative flower motif, in particular, takes shape in various simple forms, delicate but strong.
Handcrafted in fine silver over 12 days by a single artisan, it is extensively hand-worked right down to its individually handmade link chains. Featuring locally-sourced grey sandstone flower pieces hand-carved by a sandstone artisan specialist, the piece sits comfortably around the neck, substantial yet lightweight. Beautiful worn long, looped or layered as you wish.
